Officially established in 2002, The Amar Dancers are a
polished, energetic and graceful troupe
that strives to share the joy and passion for dance with others. They actively perform at festivals,
productions, conferences, workshops, private functions and other special events,
both on the Island and the Mainland.
“Amar means “moon” in Arabic. I chose this name
for our troupe because I am drawn to the moon as a symbol
of female creative energy. To me, it represents never-ending cycles, the graceful ebb and flow of the
tide and the beauty of change.”
-- Pamela Ball, Artistic Director
